ContentCafé is licensed software. The initial license is for a one year period at a cost of $1495. This license needs to be renewed annually at a cost of $395.
This license includes one site key. Additional site keys (when running multiple sites from one installation of ContentCafé) can be purchased for $395.
We offer educational and non-profit discounts for eligible institutions.
Every copy of ContentCafé must have an installation key. If you run ContentCafé on multiple servers (e.g., a load balanced environment) all copies must have unique installation keys.
Installations of ContentCafé can control more than one web site. Each site must have a unique site key that is tied to the installation key. When used in a load balanced environment each server will have unique installation and site keys.
If you have an active ContentCafé installation key you will get all ContentCafé upgrades, including major revisions, through the "Account" page of the ContentCafe.net web site.
Annual installation key renewal will give you access to all upgrades of your current version of ContentCafé for a year.

Additionally, there are a number of add-on elements for ContentCafé.
Yes. By design, the ContentCafé interface only allows defined sections (elements) of a web page to be modified. Other areas, such as page headers and footers, are not accessible through ContentCafé's interface.
Additionally, you can define what CSS classes are available through the ContentCafé interface to content managers. And if that isn't enough, you can also completely remove styling options from specific content managers. They will have access to the data of the element but not the styling options.
ContentCafé also lets you define displays for elements where you can specify the attributes of the display. Want all images in a sidebar to be 100px wide? Just define a display that forces the width to 100px.
Yes. ContentCafé uses the Application.cfm file to store settings for the ContentCafé site. This file can be modified to include settings for any other ColdFusion web application.
If you are installing a web application be aware that the installation of that application may overwrite the ContentCafé Application.cfm file. Always make a backup of your web site before installing new software.
If you have a pre-existing Application.cfm file and want to install ContentCafé, ContentCafé will not overwrite an existing Application.cfm file during installation. Instead, you must move the existing Application.cfm file out of the way, install ContentCafé then manually merge the old and new Application.cfm files together.
Unlike previous versions of ContentCafé, version 2.0 is not provided as full source.
If your company is a reseller of ContentCafé that also provides hosting, Net Innovations LLC may be willing to provide source code.
